Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is the New face in Hip Hop. He use to be an underground rapper who rose to the top very quickly. There is so many rappers out there who just say random words that rhyme and don't really make sense. Kendrick Lamar is the exact opposite. He raps like he has a chip on his shoulder, or something to prove. The passed couple years, he has written some of the most popular raps in Hip Hop history. The songs Swimming Pools (Drank), Poetic Justice, B**ch Don't Kill My Vibe, F**ckin Problem, and Control have each been one of the most talked about songs on their debuts. Not only is he an Amazing rapper, but he is also an outstanding lyricist. He is not that metaphorically like Lil Wayne is, but he gets deep into his feelings and actually makes sense at what he says. In the song Control by Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar went off! He proclaimed himself the king of both the East and West Coast, He said that He was gonna be the best, it doesnt matter who is in his way, He said that he doesnt have to wear all the designer clothes to know that he's famous, he said he has friends in the rap game but they are also his competition, He then names all the top rappers out right now (Nas, eminem, Andre 3000, all the new rappers that jsut started,Big Krit, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mills, Asap Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electronica, Mac Miller). He also says that " I got love for you all but im tryna murder you n***as, make sure your core fans never heard of you n***as, they don't wanna hear one more noun or verb from you n***as, What is competiotion, Im tryna raise the bar high, who tryna jump and get it". Everybody was just like "wow" whenever this song was released. He proclaimed himself at the top of the rap game and he is not going anywhere.

Weezy F Baby

Lil Wayne is by far the best rapper of all time. He singed his first record deal at the age of nine. What other rapper has done that? None. Wayne rose to the top of the rap game very fast.  At one time he was the president of Cash Money Records, where he found Young Money Entertainment. He was the one that started giving away music for free online, this music was later given the name mix tapes.   Yeah he smokes weed, yeah he drinks syrup, yeah he drinks alcohol, but that’s how he works. Everybody works differently. People who say these things just don’t really understand Wayne. When he gets high, Hes in the “zone”. There are 2 things that make Lil Wayne the best rapper of all time. Similes (metaphors, analogies, etc), and the fact that he could care less what other people think.

Lil wayne uses similes and metaphores in his music to make it unbelievably good. Examples of it would be:

·          “I stick to the script, I memorize the lines, cause life is movie that I’ve seen too many times”

·         “I’m calling n-ggas out, like the umpire”

·         “If time is money, I’m an hour past paid”

·         “Don’t come down here, if you ain’t from down here. F–k around and get stuck like gum down here”

·         “ if lifes a B**ch then mines a gold digger”

·         “ im good im 100 like a fast ball”

·         “don’t test me mafu**a I study”

·         “im killin these ho’s, lock me up for murder”

·         “some of us are lovers, most yall haters”

Obviously, there is nobody else who can come up with these sayings. Nobody can really put words together like he can.

        Lil wayne also plays guitar and skateboards. A lot of people says he cant do both and that he needs to quit but, does he really have to? Wayne can do whatever he wants. He has a house on the beach, he has a bugatti  that gets 5.2 mpg and he drives it everywhere. What else does he have to accomplish? He is already the greatest rapper of all time. If he wants to play gutair, let him. If he wants to skateboard, let him. Even if hes not good, you cant get good at something unless you keep practicing at it.  He keeps rapping to get better and to set the bar higher for everyone else to try and meet. if you criticize him, your almost making yourself look stupid because his music, in its own way, is a work of art.
